In this ever changing regulatory environment we have found many businesses are in need of financial leadership, and timely and accurate accounting & tax infrastructure. With our á la carte approach we will develop a plan specifically tailored to your business that is both cost effective and efficient.
RAF, headquartered in Frederick, Maryland with satellite offices throughout Maryland and Pennsylvania, was founded in Connecticut in 1999 and has since grown to service businesses and their owners throughout the east coast. We are deeply invested in the wellbeing of our community, families, employees and clients; with each of their successes being the foothold to the success of our company. With our historical and technical background, RAF Consulting has experienced growth and changes within the accounting and financial services industry over the course of more than 20 years. We pride ourselves on being a source of historical tax knowledge & experience which enables us to quickly advise on ever evolving tax policies.

Tonya Schuh, CPA/CFO
President, Founder & CEO
As the owner & CFO of RAF Consulting Inc., Tonya leads the strategic direction of the company and brings over 35 years of CFO, financial, accounting and tax experience in a broad range of industry segments. Tonya has been fortunate to have the opportunity to experience the transformational growth of the Accounting & Tax industry. With continuous and proactive IT & Networking Education and with her aggressive early pursuit to develop strong technology business relationships, Tonya has provided remote bookkeeping, accounting, and tax services for over 20 years. Tonya has been able to offer her clients both technical and automated efficiencies utilizing numerous Accounting Software general ledger packages. Tonya is a QuickBooks Pro Adviser.
While simultaneously owning RAF, Tonya was also Managing Partner of The CFO Source, LLC. for 6 years until it dissolved in 2018. As the Managing Partner, she was responsible for all tax engagements, CFO/Controller services, staff hiring and training, and managed over 100 clients.
Tonya graduated from University of Maryland with a double major in accounting and economics. She is a member of American Institute of Certified Public Accountants & Maryland Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Rachel Campbell
Partner & Managing Director
As Director of Client & Employee Relations, Rachel leads RAF Consulting’s Business Development Practice with over 15 years of banking and management experience. Her position focuses on the growth and longevity of the company, and she is deeply rooted in the management and coaching of the team; as well as developing personal relationships with each of RAF’s clients as she seamlessly walks each client through an individualized sales process & maintaining continuous support and communication.
Rachel started her professional career with BB&T working her way up to a Workplace Banking Officer where she supported an entire Maryland region,
before moving to FNB. There she specialized in residential & commercial loans, retail & commercial accounts, and investment portfolios, and was later promoted to commercial lender specializing in large commercial portfolios.
Majoring in Business Administration at University of Maryland and her extensive working background allows Rachel to bring a dynamic client focused direction to the team.
